I’ve been trying to get some of these pesky messengers, a talented and remarkable group of people in many ways, to actively contribute to this blog. As you can see I’ve had absolutely no luck. So I’ll just meander along the pathways of my mind (isn’t that a song from the 70’s) and hope that I make a relevant point sooner or later.
Perhaps the most important note I have to make is that Jetset has raised our bicycle prices. This price change affects bike zones 1-4 and isn’t very significant, though I imagine it depends on whether or not you’re on the receiving of the price increase. Seriously though, most zone prices have been raised within a modest range of about $1.85 to $5.50. Our last price increase was over 2 years ago, so both Andy and myself felt strongly that we needed to a) keep providing our employees with a level of compensation commensurate with an industry leader and b) to insure that Jetset remains viable and vibrant and able to provide our employees with Workers Comp, dental, kaiser and the occasional night out. Such as this one that Andy’s putting on after Jetset takes the crew out for dinner. You’re invited to dance like a white girl on Dance Party USA, if you’re so inclined.
